High Wycombe-based company, Risk Management Security Services, has made a donation of £20,000 to Oxford Hospitals Charity.

Staff at the security company were inspired to make the donation following the treatment of the company’s Chairman, as well as two year-old Logan, the granddaughter of Managing Director, Graham Tilly.

Graham explains:  ‘Oxford is the largest area of operation for our company so we are delighted to give back to this wonderful community – so many of whom will regularly rely on the support of their local hospitals.

‘We have seen first-hand how the staff at the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford provide outstanding support and care to many. In the last eighteen months they have shown true dedication and commitment for ‘Little Logan’, the granddaughter of our Managing Director, as well as to our Chairman, John.

‘The excellent care, commitment and passion we’ve seen from the staff in the hospitals has truly inspired us, so as a company we are pleased to donate £20,000 to Oxford Hospitals Charity to support their good work in the hospitals.

‘£10,000 will be directed to support the Oxford Heart Centre and a further £10,000 to support the Oxford Children’s Hospital, including the very special Kamran’s Ward which gives dedicated care to children with cancer.

‘We are delighted that the donations will be used to make a difference to a huge number of patients with heart conditions and cancer.

‘We cannot thank the staff enough for their huge contribution to the health of “Little Logan” and John.’

Lucy Budgett from Oxford Hospitals Charity said: ‘We are incredibly grateful for this very generous donation, which has been made with such genuine and careful thought.

‘Donations to our charity allow us to greatly enhance the medical equipment and technology used in our hospitals, as well improve the hospital environments patients spend time in – and this significant gift will have such a positive impact.

‘We’d like to extend our sincere gratitude to John, Graham and the whole Risk Management Security Services team, and also thank little Logan for her enthusiastic cheque presentation during a recent check up at the hospital – she was an absolute superstar.’
