In a year when our lives have been dominated by the devastating impact of COVID-19, we want to celebrate some of the highlights made possible by your ongoing support for Oxford Hospitals Charity and our hopes and wishes for 2021.
Thanks to kind donations from people like you, the Charity has been able to wrap its arms around hospital staff throughout the pandemic and provide huge support to our very special patients. We set up emergency respite rooms, away from the wards, where hospital staff working long hours could recuperate and provided staff with care packs and meals.
To support extremely vulnerable patients, we provided specialist equipment to help them to monitor their condition at home, and in our hospitals, we helped them stay in touch with their loved ones.
There is still so much more we need to do and with your help, we can continue this important work.
Your help has allowed us to fund state of the art equipment at the Oxford Heart Centre, Neurology and Emergency Department. Read more to find out the difference you can make in 2021.
Every Christmas, our local communities make festive toy and gift drops for children at the hospitals. Sadly, this year is different. COVID-19 restrictions mean the traditional toy drops cannot take place – but there is an alternative, by giving a virtual gift.
Your support will make a huge difference this Christmas as well as help fund transformative projects in 2021.
With your help, we've been able to bring music and arts across the wards and departments of our local Oxfordshire hospitals.
