Our hospitals Children's Hospital The Oxford Children's Hospital is a very special place indeed. Built around the needs of children and their families, with all the clinical areas grouped together under one roof, it is bright and happy with indoor and outdoor play areas, sensory rooms and even a school. What you may not know is that there wouldn't be a children's hospital in Oxford without charitable support. Close to £15 million was raised to help create this very special place, and today donations continue to transform the care we are able to offer our young patients. As we celebrate the tenth anniversary of the hospital, donations and fundraising remain as important as ever. Our 10th Anniversary £2 Million Appeal is helping to fund new parents' accommodation, as well as the very best patient monitor systems, microbiology equipment to quickly diagnose meningitis, and improved play areas.
