Our Hospitals John Radcliffe Hospital Oxford Heart Centre Support the Heartfelt Appeal The Oxford Heart Centre at the John Radcliffe Hospital is a centre of excellence for treating people with heart disease. It has a 24/7 heart attack centre, where patients bypass A&E, moving from the ambulance to the operating theatre in minutes. There is also state-of-the-art imaging in the Cath Labs, specialist rehabilitation and an internationally renowned academic department of cardiovascular medicine. Your kind support helped to make the Oxford Heart Centre what it is today - and now you can help equip the team for the future. A two-year fundraising campaign supported the creation of a modern and spacious centre which opened back in 2009 and since then Oxford Hospitals Charity has continued to work in partnership with the team, thanks to your donations, fundraising and gifts in Wills. As a centre of excellence for treating people with heart disease, there are many talented NHS staff in the team. And our charity is proud to work alongside them, supporting innovation and improved care by funding the best medical equipment and more comfortable hospital environment for patients from across the Thames Valley and beyond. Today, we are excited to embark on a new era of support for the Oxford Heart Centre, and with your help we aim to fund a new suite of equipment and support to help give patients the very best possible outcomes and expereince. If you want to say thank you to the teams in the Oxford Heart Centre please show your support today and help drive the next generation of major improvements.
