This much-loved five mile event brings together hundreds of supporters for a brilliant morning of fun, fresh air and fundraising. Bring friends, family or colleagues and soak up the atmosphere. We’re thrilled — nearly 800 people have already signed up! Don’t miss out on the fun! ONLINE REGISTATION HAS NOW CLOSED. But you can still register on the day - just come a little early and head to our info tent. This much-loved fun run winds through the stunning grounds of Blenheim Palace, taking in all its breathtaking views en-route. Whether you’re a seasoned runner, casual jogger, or just fancy a scenic walk with friends, everyone is welcome! READ ON FOR ALL YOUR ON THE DAY INFO You can take part on your own or as part of a team - bring along friends, family or colleagues for an unforgettable day out. Children aged 10 and over can join too, and well-behaved dogs (on leads). The event is pushchair friendly. The route is tarmacked throughout and accessible, and you can view the route below. However, if you have any questions please get in touch. Your entry fee covers all event costs, including parking, stewards, venue hire, timing, insurance, and all the essentials to make the day safe, smooth, and fun for everyone. And of course, your OX5 RUN medal on completion. And it's your fundraising that can make a real difference for young patients cared for by our hospitals. The run raises important extras for the Oxford Children’s Hospital and children’s services across Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, such as play areas, sensory equipment to calm and distract young patients, and specialist medical technology for complex surgery. ONLINE REGISTATION HAS NOW CLOSED, BUT YOU CAN STILL ENTER ON THE DAY So grab your trainers and join us for a fantastic day of fun and fundraising at Blenheim Palace. ON THE DAY INFO... YOUR RUNNING NUMBERS All those who entered before March 2nd have had their running numbers posted to them. Please look after it carefully as it has your time chip in it, and remember to bring the safety pins with you to pin it to your front. If you already have your running number you do not need to check in with us on the day. Those who signed up after 2nd March need to collect their running number on the day from our registration tent and safety pins will be provided. Please remember to fill in your next of kin info on the back of your bib. GETTING TO THE EVENT Please give yourself plenty of time to get to Blenheim Palace. Use the Blenheim Palace Hensington Gate entrance, on the A44 Oxford Road, OX20 1PX. Entrance to the Blenheim grounds is free to runners and their supporters with free parking also available. Our stewards will guide you in. TIMINGS Gates open at Blenheim at 8.30 am, Get Radio will be entertaining us with tunes from 9 am Warm-up starts at 10.10 am Runners will set off at 10.30 am prompt. ON THE DAY Please can fast runners position themselves near the front of the start line, Those who are slower runners, walkers, have buggies or are bringing dogs, please start nearer the back Please run safely with consideration for others around you Dogs must be kept on a tight lead Videoing and photography will be taking place, and local media may also be present Water will be provided at the halfway mark and at the end of the run Those running with children under the age of 16, please make sure they are supervised by an adult at all times and running with you at the event Keep an eye on our social media for up-to-date info – we are ‘Oxford Hospitals Charity’ on all socials.
