We would like to say a huge thank you to the staff at NFU Mutual Great Milton Agency for choosing Oxford Hospitals Charity to be their chosen charity beneficiary again this year.

NFU Mutual started their Agency Giving Fund in 2020 where they recognised the vital need for supporting local frontline charities in light of the Coronavirus Pandemic for people who were making a difference.

NFU Mutual has been a champion of rural communities in the UK for over 100 years, and this year they are proud to be distributing £1.92m to local charities across the UK, by continuing this initiative.

Kirsty Barrett who is an Agent at the Great Milton Agency commented, ‘Each agency businesses is given the chance to identify where we feel local funds should be directed’.

‘We are all encouraged to nominate local charities to receive a share of the fund and my business partner and I thought there was no better place than the hospital.

‘As our agency offices cover over 295 locations nationwide, the initiative ensures that donations reach all corners of the UK’

‘I myself live next door to hospital staff and saw how hard they worked during the pandemic. We have also had staff and relatives treated by your hospitals for various illnesses and to me it felt like the right place for us to direct funding.’

Naomi Stewart Hale, Corporate Partnerships Manager at Oxford Hospitals Charity said, ‘We are so grateful to NFU Mutual for their generous donation of over £16,000 over the last 3 years. This will make such a big difference to our local hospitals and we couldn’t continue to fund vital work without the financial support of businesses like NFU Mutual.’
