Let’s hear it for The Wychwood Chorale, a choir based in Chadlington who have raised £600 for Oxford Hospitals Charity at their recent concert.

The choir chose Artlink, the hospital arts programme, funded by Oxford Hospitals Charity, to be the recipient of the donations at their ‘Smokes and Mirrors’ concert.

Featuring songs from Leonard Bernstein, Adele and Guilio Caccini, the evening of music centred on the theme of subterfuge, espionage, and misdirection!

The choir wanted to support our very special music on wards programme, which brings concerts to patients at their bedside.
Ruth Charity, Arts Lead from Oxford Hospitals Charity, said, “I was delighted to go along to the concert and see and hear for myself the wonderful choir in action.

“It was an uplifting evening of beautiful music. I would like to thank everyone who attended for helping to raise a fantastic amount of money for our arts programme which will bring the joy of music to patients in hospital.”
