ADVANCED TRAINING AND EDUCATION

Expand

Many members of hospital staff have been supported with additional specialist training and education to help keep them at the forefront of medical practices.

Patients benefit greatly from the advanced techniques and latest research gained through these courses and seminars.

Training and education of this sort can also help with staff morale and retention – two key issues within the NHS.

SUPPORTING OUR STAFF

Expand

Many of our charity supporters have a strong wish to thank the hospital staff who have made a difference to them and their families.

Through their donations we are able to make hospital areas more comfortable for staff, providing rest areas, drinks facilities and other simple enhancements.

Some funding is also used for specialist counselling and to provide extra support for our dedicated clinical staff.

FUNDING THE VERY BEST MEDICAL EQUIPMENT

Expand

We work with our clinicians across the four hospitals to determine how we can help fund the very best medical equipment helping enhance patient care across our local Oxfordshire hospitals.

As a charity we are able to provide cutting-edge equipment – such as the latest scanners, monitors, lasers, ultrasound and imaging technology – providing equipment like this to our clinical teams is one of our core aims as a charity.
